But …..

There are times I have to
pretend and say
“I am okay”
even it hurts
But
I am glad that
there are people
around me to hear
when I say
“I am hurt”

Things are not
happening as expected,
People we love hurts
and ignore us
But
When I look back
at those moments,
I am glad there were
shoulders to lean on
to say “It’s okay”

Even though putting lot
of efforts,it’s hard
to get appreciation
from certain people
But
There are few special
people to say
“You have done well”
“You are the best”
for simple things.

There are so many
people to celebrate
if I succeed in
something I wish
But
No matter what happens
in my life
there are people
to both celebrate and
cry with me

Life is neither
best nor worst,
Some times it’s good
Some times it’s bad
But
it is worth giving it
a try by letting go
the moments we want to undo,
and keeping the moments we
want to treasure

My sincere thanks to the people who are there behind the mentioned “But”.I think might have done some thing good in my previous life 🙂

  1. It’s those people behind the ‘but’ that we need to cherish. A beautiful poem!

  2. Martian Poet

Life is a beautiful garden, there are some flowers that fall to the earth, and there are some new flowers yet to come, we are playing in that garden, it is full flowers of different bushe, There are some flowers that sting the nose, yes we need to move on!..

Keep moving..and this reminds me one of the experience I had in school. There was a girl, still I remember her, I pray for her, I cry for her, I dont know why, Love? Friendship? Even I dint talk to her more than three or four times, I forgot to thank her what she did in the school.

What she did? to me? .no.. she is the one used to clean the classroom along with me..( as a pupil representative I used to do.. if the cleaner dint come.. none of the pupil used to come forward to help.. I remember she is the one get the brooms from somtimes and helped me. I smiled… but I love her..I want to thank her for this… looks very funny?.. but she is the one I admire in the girls world )

I promise, I never met such a girl so far..I wanted to share this.. this poem reminded me her..

    • Even though you forgot to thank her,you are grateful to her by thinking and remembering of her.Glad to hear that!!!No,it doesn’t look funny. If you get a chance to meet her again, thank her and tell ,”I never met such a girl so far”.But I have experienced a similar situation like you.Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts 🙂

  14. I Am Jasmine Kyle

I’ve been battling with soul sickness lately to, so I understand your melancholy. I have found so much love and encouragement from World Press it’s been great to have the love and sad to because sometimes I get more love from strangers here than in my life. I have had to burn LOTS of bridges when I discovered that and it hurts but feels good because I am free of all of those do nothings. I am new to your blog but I like you very much for you openness. It takes a brave person to show that side of them self.

  15. I have nominated you for a bunch of awards! Enjoy 🙂 🙂

Art is our home. This door is open, always, to all, and yet permits not the entry of draft or rain. The doused may find solace, and repose, in the warmth of this hearth. For the sparks of these words - the spectres conjured by its incandescence - are a family whose love is unconditional, and will ever blaze, kindling within us the faith to weather these tempests. The ashes may then be scattered upon the winds - to ignite the lost, and unify our souls as one, in unquenched illumination; to be the light which guides us home, through the darkest of eclipse.
